"I approached Dale Ringin in 2005 to run a fitness program for the staff of Leopold Primary School. Dale eagerly took on the project, starting in term 1 of 2006 with about ten staff members. The objective of the program was to give teachers the opportunity to participate in regular structured physical activity sessions within the school grounds. The sessions were to be designed to cater for all needs but give an enjoyable work out amongst colleagues. Dale has continued to run the sessions every term without fail, with at least 8 staff member each term participating. Over the past 4 years friends and family members of the Leopold PS staff members plus staff from other surrounding schools have also been involved.
The benefits of the sessions for my staff include
• Sessions are all done on campus so staff don’t have to travel to another venue to exercise
• Reduction of the risk of heart disease, burning calories and increasing energy levels
• Positive role modelling to students and the school community
• Higher morale amongst staff
• Increased productivity and reduced rates of absenteeism
• Opportunity to learn exercises that can be done at home or even with students
• Staff bonding that’s non work related
• Stress release after a hard day at work
I would thoroughly recommend Dale operating a fitness program for your staff." -

“We have a lot of fun. Although we take it seriously, no one takes it too seriously. We get to do a variety of activities that challenge us and help us improve our personal fitness. We encourage and support each other.”- Jenny Clissold
“I'm a lot fitter and I actually like doing exercise now. I am also finding it a great way to unwind and clear the head after a day at work. I walk 5kms at least 3-4 times a week, try to go bike riding each fortnight for 20kms and currently do street orienteering on Thursday nights. All this exercise was unheard of before. My whole mindset has changed. It was also an easy option for me to get fit- it was at school and straight after work.” Lorraine Crawford
"I write to thank you most sincerely for your expert involvement in our leadership retreat last Thursday and Friday. The level and quality of the program you provided was perfect for the group and we all felt encouraged to ensure that we work hard at putting together an ongoing program to stay fit and alert in the job. We look forward to working with you again during future visits to Geelong for ongoing retreats next year."- Dr Jim Watterston, former Regional Director, DE&ECD, Eastern Metropolitan Region
